--Ray Segars

 

Mr. Segars consults national account and multiple location, commercial and industrial customers on financial and technical issues related to electric, gas, water and waste utilities and deregulation. He has developed energy management strategies for clients and prepared them for electric and gas deregulation. His efforts have reduced clients' energy costs by lowering energy consumption, tariff & contract re-negotiation, and competition in deregulated markets.


Mr. Segars has 20 years experience in the utility industry. Prior to Expo Energy & Environmental, he consulted independently for 5 years. Also, he was National Account Manager at Georgia Power Company. In addition, during his 12 year career, he worked as a Regulatory Affairs Representative and a Power Sales Representative. For 3 years, Mr. Segars worked as a Sales Representative at a telecommunications interconnect company during the breakup of the Bell System.


Mr. Segars has won several industry awards for his projects to improve energy efficiency. In addition, he has made presentations and been recognized in publications on energy topics and the decision to outsource consulting services to organizations such as FMI and IMRA. His education includes an MBA and MS in Marketing from Georgia State University and BS in Industrial Management from Georgia Tech.

 

--Jim Lamm

 

Mr. Lamm consults commercial and industrial clients on rate tariffs, policies and procedures of electric, gas, water and sewage utilities. His working knowledge of rate structures and practices of major utilities coupled with his analysis skills have resulted in substantial savings to clients from billing errors, incorrect rate applications and operational changes onsite.


Mr. Lamm has 26 years experience in the utility industry. Before joining Expo Energy & Environmental, he worked as a senior engineer at UtiliCom, an energy and telecommunication consulting firm, for 6 years performing utility analysis and training. For 15 years, he worked as a Power Marketing Supervisor and Power Marketing Engineer at Georgia Power Company. His responsibilities included successfully negotiating competitive supplier, competitive fuel projects and being project manager for large endeavors such as the Georgia Dome and Turner Field. Mr. Lamm earned a MBA from Georgia State University and a BS in Economic Engineering Systems and a Minor in History from Georgia Tech.
